Lily Stewart has lived with her three aunts in Noble County in northern Indiana for as long as she can remember. Her parents were killed in a car crash when she was only a few months old. Whilst this means her childhood hasn't been quite normal, it has nevertheless been relatively happy.

Clothing: Lily is one of those lucky people who manages to usually look elegant and graceful no matter what she wears. Whilst she doesn't mind occasional bright colours, she is most often seen wearing soft pastels, especially pink, blue and grey but mostly pink because I am firmly on Team Pink Dress. When choosing a name for my modern version, I wanted to relate it to the name the original version uses in the beginning of the movie, 'Briar Rose', so I chose another flower name, Lily. It also references the character Emily Osment played in Hannah Montana, Lilly Truscott. 'Stewart' is another reference to the show, being the surname of Miley Cyrus' character.
