When choosing a name for my modern version, I wanted to relate it to the name the original version uses in the beginning of the movie, 'Briar Rose', so I chose another flower name, Lily. It also references the character Emily Osment played in Hannah Montana, Lilly Truscott. 'Stewart' is another reference to the show, being the surname of Miley Cyrus' character.
